How to have soft and smooth hands

Help to keep your hands soft and supple, even through the cold winter months, with these ideas.

If you are already using a handcream, and not getting the results taht you expected, or have yoy tried various handcreams and can't seem to find one that gives you the results you are looking for?

The answer: exfoliant. This will remove all the dead skin cells.

1) Wash hands with any mild soap that you have in the bathroom.

2) While your hands ar still wet, gently massage a small amount of exfoliant. You may use any exfolliant you have at home, for the face or body. If you don't have any exfoliant, heres a simple recipe:
  • 1 Tablespoon of olive or sunflower seed oil
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of sugar
Mix together and ready to use

3) Rinse hands well in lukewrm water.

4) Carefully dry hands, leaving your hands slightlty damp in the winter can lead to chapping.

5)Apply your hand cream as usual.

You will inmediately notice that your hands feel a lot more softer and younger.

Useful tip: if you live in a sunny climate use suntan lotionon your hands before you go out of the  houseall year round. Winter doesn't burn, but it does age.
